Welcome and thank you for visiting Alamo City Parti Yorkies! We are located in the beautiful South Texas Hill Country of San Antonio, Texas. My name is Lisa, I am an ethical breeder of the gorgeous AKC Yorkshire Terrier. I specialize in the Tri Parti color, we also have Traditional (black and tan) and Sable Parti colored yorkie puppies. All colors we produce are recognized by AKC and all of our Yorkshire Terriers are registered with AKC. At Alamo City Parti Yorkies, our yorkies are part of our family, I do not run a kennel or a store front. We are not a “puppy mill”, we are a family with a passion for the breed and strive to improve its excellence. Please be patient when waiting for a yorkie puppy from us, we have a very small breeding program and limit ourselves to 2-4 litters per year.
At Alamo City Parti Yorkies, we strive to produce the highest quality puppies in health and appearance. All of our Yorkshire Terriers are thoroughly health tested yearly and before every breeding. We keep our Yorkies up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention and also flea and tick prevention. Their health and disposition is our ultimate ambition. We raise our puppies with their mother, they ween at their own pace and are socialized daily by my family, personal friends that love to cuddle puppies and also my yorkie crew. We ALL love having puppies. ☺️ Our puppies are first raised on their mothers milk, then at around 5-6 weeks old they start their transition to puppy kibble. We feed Hills Science Diet Small Paws puppy kibble and sometimes we use Royal Canin Appetite Stimulator canned food for smaller puppies that have a delay in teething. All of our puppies ween naturally, they are not taken or forbidden to be with their mother. We keep our puppies for 10-16 weeks. Our puppies go to their furever home with a specialized care package that includes: puppy food, toys special to that particular puppy, a blanket the puppy was raised with that also has the scent of it’s mother and litter mates, items specially chosen by myself and treats that the puppy loves. Every single item in this specialized care package is intended to make the transition to the puppy’s furever home as smooth as possible.
Currently, we have bred our Fiona to an outside AKC Traditional, parti carrier stud named Truger. Fiona is confirmed pregnant by ultrasound and her litter is due to arrive September 11, 2023. All of these puppies will go to people on our waiting list. We also had a litter born on July 7, 2023 by our own Gia/Dexer. All of these puppies are reserved by deposit.
