We will always remember your snow white coat.
We will always remember your bow-legged waddle . We will always remember your sweet face as you lay it down on our shoulders and the soft groans you made while we stroked your back. We will always remember you rolling in the fresh cut grass in utter joy.
We will always remember your love for your family, both human and non, and your fierce loyalty as you defended them against male intruders like the UPS man and the pest control guy…no ankles were safe.
We will always remember what a great mother you were to your babies and how you loved them. We will always remember you laying out in the warm sun belly up soaking it in.
We will always remember your soft nose bump on our leg to get our attention.
